I am a functional art creator with a passion for breathing new life into the forgotten. My journey began as a completely self-taught artisan, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a determination to master the craft with my own two hands. What started out as a personal creative outlet eventually found its home at our local markets, where connecting face-to-face with people who appreciated unique, handmade pieces helped build the heart and history of my business today.

My passion is turning old, unloved furniture into statement pieces of comfortable, functional art. While "reduce, reuse, and recycle" is a great foundation, I believe we make an even bigger impact when we reclaim, redesign, repair, restore, rethink, and respect the items around us. In a world looking for meaningful alternatives to disposable, single-use goods, my work offers lasting beauty and purpose.

Alongside restored furniture, I love designing and crafting Kiwiana-inspired cushion covers and shoulder bags. Known locally as "The Queen of Kiwiana," I design these bright, character-filled pieces to serve as the perfect memento or souvenir of Aotearoa.

Life Beyond the Studio: When I’m not creating, I’m busy raising my 13-year-old granddaughter, Aurora. You’ll often find me out fishing, cruising on my 1967 and 1970 Honda C50 motorbikes, or taking a drive in my 1970 Ford Falcon Station Wagon. I also love dancing, cooking up healthy meals, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
